Like you, I am interested in well-being.
I try to practice good habits with my physical, mental and emotional health.
Yes, I know, it seems like a lot of work sometimes. I also don’t feel like drinking water or getting up at 5:30am to get a work out in. Or going to bed on time. Or being mature about handling my emotions.
And sometimes I don’t. We are human, after all. But I try to be as consistent as I can without being rigid.
Don’t you think it feels so much better when you are on top of those things?
I know I do. I feel better in my lived experience, like, how it feels to be me. But I also feel better about myself.
So, it’s worth it.
It is especially worth it when I see the exponential impact that practicing wellness has on the people around me.
I know I am here on the earth to contribute to this conversation of wellness. My contribution comes in the space of emotional wellness. I hear so many people tell me stories about generations of emotional challenges that actually impact current daily life. And, I think we can break those chains.
There is enough access to information and resources that we can make improvements on outdated emotional functioning. That is what I am here to do.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing full time for over a decade.
I own One Heart Counseling Center in Manhattan Beach, CA (Los Angeles area). We are a group of heart centered, humanistic therapists who are also credentialed Art Therapists.
